The Muswellbrook Local Art Awards 2015 attracted over 150 entries. Artists and their friends and families from Muswellbrook, Singleton and the Upper Hunter, were present at 6.00pm Saturday 7 November 2015 to hear the decisions of adjudicator Christine Pike, Associate Member of the Royal Art Society of NSW.

The Muswellbrook Local Art Awards offer local artists the opportunity to show off the cream of their work from the past twelve months, with a total prize value of $6,000 split over six disciplines.

The Muswellbrook Local Art Awards incorporates six prizes: Painting, Works on Paper, 3D, Photography, Aboriginal and Youth Prize.

Purchasing artwork

Works for sale may be reserved by making a part payment but must be fully paid for prior to the close of the exhibition or the purchaser will forfeit their deposit. Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre accepts cash, cheque or EFTPOS payments. If you have any questions please consult the Arts Centre staff. Muswellbrook Shire Council takes a commission of 30% from all works sold (included in the purchase price as listed in this catalogue). This commission is used for the future purchase of art works for the Muswellbrook Shire Art Collection.
