Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre Design Concepts
Muswellbrook Shire Council hereby gives notice of public exhibition of the five design concepts for the proposed Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre.
Construction of a Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre will be the cornerstone of the purpose-built civic services precinct, identified as a catalyst site in the Muswellbrook Town Centre Strategy and a priority in the NSW Government’s Hunter Regional Plan 2036.
The proposed Centre will provide a flexible performance space for Upper Hunter schools, performance groups, and the broader community. It will meet the need arising from the lack of availability of comparable facilities in the town and in the broader Upper Hunter region. It will facilitate vocational education and training opportunities in the performing arts.
The five design concepts will be on public exhibition until Thursday 8 November 2018 at Council’s Administration Centre and Council libraries (Denman and Muswellbrook) during business hours and will be available on Council’s website www.muswellbrook.nsw.gov.au
All interested parties are encouraged and invited to inspect the exhibited documents and make written submissions, addressed to:
