Upper Hunter Country Tourism and Muswellbrook Shire Council are partnering on a new tourism initiative called ‘Growing Local Tourism Talent’. This initiative introduces participants to the local opportunities that tourism has to offer; it provides

  • a part-qualification
  • work experience with a local busines
  • and exposure to tourism activity and opportunities across the Upper Hunter

Who is this session for?

Anyone who has thought about starting, or is working in, a tourism or hospitality business, recent school leavers, unemployed people with hospitality qualifications, and Visitor Information Centre volunteers are encouraged to attend this two hour introduction to  ‘Growing Local Tourism Talent’

What the information session covers

The information session will explain the ‘Growing Local Tourism Talent’ program and provide further information about work opportunities in the tourism industry and local study options.
