Reconstruction of the iconic heritage building Campbell's Corner has been a priority for Council since its purchase in 2011. Campbell’s Corner is a heritage-listed feature of the town, showcasing a combination of original Victorian architecture and Federation Classic additions. Later expansion and development of the site has made the building an historical map of Muswellbrook’s social and commercial evolution throughout the past century.
The site and its history are an integral part of the town’s sense of identity; the building with its tower and dramatic architecture make an impressive avatar for Muswellbrook
as a whole.
The housing of the Conservatorium within this building is a welcome step towards the further development of Muswellbrook as a centre for both cultural and educational excellence within New South Wales.
